Contact Bruny Island Tours
A question about a tour listed here, a correction, or a request to be considered? Write to us and a person will read it.
How to reach us
Email hello@brunyislandtours.com. We answer in English, usually within two working days.
We are a booking guide, not a tour operator, so we cannot change, cancel or refund a booking. That goes to the operator through the site you booked on, whose contact details are on your confirmation. If you cannot find them, write to us and we will point you to the right place.
If your tour was cancelled or you missed it
A refund or a new date is the operator's to give. Your confirmation email carries their contact and your booking reference, which is the fastest route. Most tours listed here refund in full if you cancel at least 24 hours before the start; the ones with longer notice, or none, say so on their cards.
Weather is the other common cause. The cruise operator may cancel in bad conditions, and the land tours can change the order of the day. If you missed a pickup, give the time and the place you waited when you write to the operator.
Corrections
If a fact here is wrong or out of date, tell us what and where. Meeting points move, fares change and pass fees rise each July, and the fastest fix is usually a reader who has just been. Every page carries the date it was last checked.
Operators
If you run food, cruise, walking or wildlife tours on the island and want a listing considered, send the product page. Placement is not for sale; how tours are chosen is set out in our affiliate disclosure.
Where the official information is
SeaLink Bruny Island ferry terminal
79 Ferry Road, Kettering TAS 7155, Australia; phone 03 6267 3601. The ferries run every day; check the SeaLink timetable for sailings. This is where every trip to the island starts, and where the ferry lands you on the other side is Roberts Point.
Parks and Wildlife Service, Bruny Island Field Centre
Care of the Alonnah Post Office, Bruny Island TAS 7150; phone 03 6293 1419. The Service manages South Bruny National Park, sets the parks pass fees and publishes the park alerts, the walking tracks and the hours cars may enter the lighthouse grounds. Read the alerts before you go.
Bruny Tourism
The island's own visitor site, brunyisland.org.au, publishes the ferry advice and the road and wildlife guidance.
The operators
Each one answers for its own tours, cruises, prices and calendar. Book and ask on the operator's own page, which is what every booking link here goes to.
